Cup 551

It's always been a race car from what I've been told.  VIN is 420551.  It's still got the full cage and the original racing seat.  The wheels are the cup wheels planned for the series:  8" front and 9.5" rear.  They are the cast aluminum wheels as opposed to the magnesium wheels.  I believe the mag wheels were street only.  I've got two sets of wheels.  One set has some tired Hoosiers that I'm trying to use up.  The other has the preferred Kumho's.  PMNA put in a 32 gal fuel cell at the request of the original owner.  The car also has a custom exhaust.  When I got it last spring, it had an Authority MAF.  I've since removed it and put a stock unit on.  In back-to-back runs, I can't tell the difference other than the Authority unit idles horribly.

 

Here's a jpeg from last year.  I've since removed most all the decals except the Cup circles.  Also put in some headlights and I don't typically run the high wing.
