Carrera Cup USA Edition # 576

Information Needed

1992 Carrera Cup Edition,
#576, #4 of 45.

The Porsche Carrera Cup car was built in the tradition set by the IROC series. With mechanically identical cars, only driver ability would prove the victor. Porsche shipped 45 of these Cup cars to America to race in the 1992 US Carrera Cup Series, which was ultimately cancelled. Since that time, 25 of the 45 cars have been converted to street trim. This treasure is #23 of those 25. The car carries the irreplaceable Carrera Cup Plaque directly from Porsche. The originality, history and specialization of this Porsche have earned it a spot on all collectors* lists. In Grand Prix White with black Recaro Speedster seats, 3.6 liter 280 bhp engine, 17" alloy wheels, and only 347 original miles, this car was offered for sale at $64,500 and subsequently sold through PML.
